Thank you to everyone who attended the memorial gathering in April at St. Thomas and also to those who celebrated Dan's life at his favorite watering hole, Brit's Pub, in Minneapolis.

A special thank you to Dan's friends in Nagoya, Japan, who banded together for a charity run/walk in honor of Dan's memory. Great job "Team Shino!"

Last year, Dan joined in the race in Shonai Ryokuchi Koen in Nagoya, Japan. On Sunday, May 23, 2010, a rainy day did not stop 35 of Dan's friends to run and walk the same race in his honor. All wore a fantastic T-shirt with Dan's face on the back. It read:

We :) Dan
In loving memory of Dan Shinozaki 3.19.82 - 2.18.10

Only a life lived for others is worth living.
(Dan's smiling face)
Team Shino

A few photos are posted to this site as well! Thank you Lorie and Ryan and so many others who paid tribute to Dan in a way he would have loved!

Best, Micki Sievwright
