Hello Betz family! Just reading a backlog of emails, and saw your latest update. I wanted to let you know that your family has touched more lives than you may know. I was incredibly touched by your last entry, about baby Esther, and about Danny's progress. Thank you for sharing these moments in your lives with others. Your witness is amazing and inspiring. Many, many people benefit from contact with faith-filled people like you!

Hi, Danny, from the Lange family (Allison plays soccer with Tessa). I got an update from your Mom at last Thursday's soccer practice and we're really glad you are making such incredible progress. I'm sure some days you don't feel so incredible, so hang in there!

Your mom is so amazing; it seems she is everywhere at once making sure each child gets what they need. It's really a privilege to know her through the St. Monica CYO connection.

Take care,

Connie Lange and family

Dear Danny,

I read your Mom's post and want to say a few things to you. I've been through quite a few cancer surgeries, and follow up surgeries to fix the previous ones. I know I can't tell you what to do, or what is in your power to accomplish, but I can tell you what I've done to help the pain. Yes, you should take your pain medications, there's no question about that, but what has helped me is to offer all that up for the poor souls in purgatory. I'm sure you've heard this from your wonderful parents, but you should also ask them to pray for you, they are there and willing, no wanting, to do this. This is the beauty of our Faith, to help each other. You are a brave boy, and I pray for you always, but I'll now ask the poor souls to do the same.

My love and prayers always,

May

Danny,

I just read your latest update, and it sounds like your on your way to camp. I will keep you in my prayers while you are away. My prayer will be that you are able to challenge your PT. What do I mean by that? I am a very competative person and sometimes when things are difficult I make them a game or challenge I need to win. If on one day I can do something once or to a certain degree, then the next day that is the challenge, to beat it. I will accept a tie but only for a time. I know you are also a competative person, so Danny your body is challenging you, take up the fight, I know you can win. Have a great time at camp!

Hi Danny,

We were so glad to hear that you are home. You are an insperation. I am sure you are having a hard time remembering Manson because you were little when you moved to Preston. My dad lives next door to one of your mom good friends in Fall City. I am always amazed at how small the world is! I get updates from my sister who goes to your church and from my dad. We just saw both of them because we did a cherry harvet together. We hope you continue to get better and that you have less pain soon. We keep praying for you.

You are always in our thoughts,

Kathy Madden and family

Hello!

Wow you're a tough kid!! I emailed before and now that you're home I wanted to offer my services to your family as I live "just around the corner" in North Bend.

Please tell your mom that we (the older girls and I) are available for anything she might need. We'd love to help out making things easier for you and your family.

Sincerely, Lisa Prior
