Hello again,
Its almost mid April and things are going well. I've been having trouble keeping up with most things these days, I guess keeping busy makes the days go quicker. My Dad finally got fed up with me not posting and has emailed me a note for all his Fans....
'i just had another cat scan to see if my cancer had metastasized to some other part of this bod of mine and it came out clear. hooray!!!! now i just have to survive the chemo for another 5 sessions and we can say 'been there done that'. the thursday after i get chemosized is the worst. neuropathy, stomach upset and some bone pain. take it easy and by friday i am all better. the problem is i have a hard time scheduling a down day in my life. and since it is only every two weeks i forget how bad it gets if i try to do too much. kazuko (the activity police) tries to keep my schedule to a min but i usually find a way to circumvent her best efforts. one of the activities i just involved myself with is a discussion group that meets every thursday (i know...i know...you don’t have to remind me of that relaxing day every other thursday i just told you about but i play bridge on my good weeks...i promise not to get involved with subjects that make my blood boil) the leader brings several current events subjects to the group and we discuss in an orderly fashion. i am thinking of starting a group up like this in our own community...along with a wine lovers group.'
So as he said, we are 7 rounds down, 5 to go. We are so thankful that his strength and outlook remain positive. I guess after going through the MOAS (mother of all surgeries), chemo seems to be a little less of a burden. We were ecstatic of the recent CAT scan and marker level results. Keep up the good work Danny!
Hope you are all well, thanks for keeping us in your thoughts!
