I'M HOME..........

Yesterday afternoon, I got to my home here in Austin! My Grammom Faith, Grampa Woody, and Uncle Greg were all waiting for me. They came out to see me the moment we drove up. They had put up balloons and all sorts of signs in the yard and on the garage door that announced my arrival.

My mom and dad say it took a long time to get from Gramma Dorr's house in Poplar Bluff Missouri to my home in Austin Texas. I don't know for sure, because I slept almost of the way. I enjoyed the trip because I got to sleep so much. And when I did wake up, my mom was sitting there right beside me.

Right before I left, I went to see the baby doctor who took care of me when I was born, before I got to ride in the helicopter, and then again when I returned to Poplar Bluff. They weighed me and measured me and tugged me and looked in my ears and mouth and listened to my heart and lungs and generally just bothered me when I was trying to sleep. He said I was doing fine, and could travel. They also said that I weighed 7 lbs and 1 oz. and was 20 inches long!
