Daniel,

I miss you, I enjoy the emails we sent to each other
talking about the events of the day and the celebrations of our families, I
will always remember the times we flew Helicopters together out of McClellan Airbase.  You are a credit to humanity and from all
that I know a great husband, father and friend.

Daniel, as you fly over the valley of shadows, fear no
evil as God is your co-pilot, find comfort, you will dwell in the house of our
Lord forever.

For those of us remaining to our earthy bound I will Pray
to God, grant us the serenity to accept the
things we cannot change; courage to change the things we can; and wisdom to
know the difference. Living one day at a time;
I will keep you in my prayers.

I miss you my friend.

At a time like this, it is very difficult for most of us to say anything beyond expressions of love and compassion for those nearest to Dan; and I have no doubt, that everyone who has followed this tragic event here on "CaringBribge" extends the deepest sympathy to the Abraham family. As everyone close to this tragedy struggles to move on, many of us near to Dan have chosen to get proactive, as those attempting to capture a glimpse of lives beyond broken hearts and dreams. For those desiring to help Tish and the kids in new and creative ways, there are a host of opportunities in the development process. We encourage anyone with a desire to help Tish and the kids in anyway, to contact Norm Van Huff at vanhuff@surewest.com There is a legacy in the development stages for Daniel Abraham and his family, and we encourage all desiring to help to contact Norman Van Huff.

Words cannot express the sorrow for such a tragic and untimely loss.  I thank God for blessing me with the honor of being one of Dan’s many friends.  I have always enjoyed the newsletters you send out.  The are wonderful and always centers on you and the family.  It shows what a great husband and father Dan was.

I pray Psalm 23 often and take comfort in one specific passage, Psalm 23:4; “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear nothing for you are with me”.  I pray this for you and the children now that God will be with you, (He always was and always will be), so you may call upon Him for strength, perseverance and peace. “Amen”.

Love and blessings,
