Well, its fixin to be another holiday without him, it still really sucks, I can't help but think about how he would enjoy things we do when we do them. For example we went to medieval times this past week with my dad and family, and I just thought to myself, man, I wish I would've done that while Dalton was here, he woulda loved it.
I look at every family pic we've taken since he passed away and they just never look right without him in them. I never thought we'd be missing  a child from our family. I hate it, and want it to go back to the way it was, I know thats impossible but its so hard to be missing such a vital part of your life. Someone that you were supposed to protect and take care of forever.
I'm still trying to stay busy, it doesn't make it go away, but I do get distracted from the pain for a little while. I'm fixing to start coaching Zhoie's cheerleading team, and Randy's fixin to start coaching football soon. So maybe that will help a little, I still wish Dalton could be there for all of that, though. Its still so hard, I miss him every moment, he was my first baby, its just not fair.
