We are using this forum to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

This summer Dale started having issues with the left leg and arm, later followed by his balance and coordination being off.  The family suspected he had a mild stroke and he went to St. Cloud for further testing. In the end of July 2018, after many tests, the news of stage 4 Colon Cancer shocked our family.  The cancer has spread to his lungs and brain (right rear lobe).  A few weeks ago, he was going to start radiation and it was brought to an abrupt hault when he was informed that he would need brain surgery to have the tumor removed before any treatment could be done.  The surgery is now scheduled for September 27th.  His plan is to recover from surgery in the cities and start radiation and chemotherapy shortly after.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Simple Traditions, 488 Humboldt Avenue, St. Paul 55107.
