Happy Holidays everyone!! Sorry that it has been so long since my last update. We have been busy and I have been enjoying the time away from the computer. When it's your life line for months it's nice to have a break, sorry it's not fair to everyone else to not hear how Dakota's doing. Dakota is doing tremendously well. Last week was his last at Madonna for rehab and now he is going to Alpha here in Kearney. It is a great place and I wish I would have known about their services earlier, not that Madonna wasn't great, it just wasn't home! We had a great Christmas it was so nice to be home with all the kids together again! Who would have known 4 months ago that Dakota would make such great leaps and bounds and so quickly! Dakota got out his skateboard on Christmas morning and boy was he happy and he did a great job riding it. I never thought how quickly he could pick up his skills again!! We have so much to celebrate this year and we are so eager to start a new year, a new chapter in all of our lives! The days are getting a little easier with Dakota home and doing so well. Dakota will be starting back to school this next semester he is very excited to see all of his friends and get back to normal if there is one!! I will be starting back to school as well at UNMC college of nursing here in Kearney. I'm anxious but a little nervous about all the busy schedules fast approaching our lives again. I have two semesters left I hope they go fast. I want to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR and thank everyone for their continued prayers and support for Dakota and our family! GO TEAM DAKOTA!!!!!!!!!!
