Did you know miracles can knock?

A little miracle came to my door yesterday. He came in the form a 12 year old child. Knocking on the door to come pick up my thirteen year old daughter to go along with  the Pastor and him so they could go train to be jr. camp counselors at one of the Christian youth camps this year.
When this little boy was one years old he diagnosed with and treated for Wilms tumor (kidney cancer).

He has been in my daughters life for 7 years, they've gone to day camp together, laughed, cried, played, fought and were baptized on the same day.

Now together they are reaching out to bring joy and happiness to other children.

I have heard my daughter speak of him on and off for years, he has inadvertantly been in my life for years way before Dakota was diagnosed with cancer, a wilms tumor.

Today little boy is a reminder of God healing power, he represents life, health, wholeness, hope.

I believe the Lord put him in and around our lives to for many reasons. One of which is remind me at those times when I find myself beginning to worry about Dakota ... He sends a sign, gives me a special touch letting me know he got her covered.

Yesterday, the miracle of life knocked at my door and reminded me not to worry. God has won the battle over wilms.

Lord, by your stripes Dakota is healed. She has a new DNA. I plead the blood of Jesus over her, Lord. I thank you for her healing. I praise you Lord. May her life be a testimony of how awesome you are, Lord. May she grow up to give you all the glory, honor and praise. May she be a reminder to someone whose child might be going through a battle with cancer or a serious illness that you are the true physician, the healer. May her life bring a solace to a worried mother/father. May she be a candle burning in the darkness of someone elses moment(s) of fear.

Bless you Father.
