Dear Family and Friends, The past week started with many appointments and meetings that set the paper work in place for Joes convelescent leave. All T's crossed all I's dotted, Joe will be home for Christmas!! We rented a car and drove to Rockwall, TX Thanksgiving morning. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with a very gracious family. Their son and Joe were in the same platoon for 3 and a half years and appreciated the time to talk . We returned to San Antonio Friday evening, very thankful. We have a lot to prepare for. We are going to 29 Palms,CA. to welcome Joe's Company home from Afghanistan. They are expected to return December 5th through December 8th. We will arrive December 4th. A memorial service to pay honor and tribute to their fallen Marines will be December 12th. Please keep their families in your prayers. We return to San Antonio December 13th.
