I thought it was time for an update.....it's been 2 weeks since the last one. We have been pretty busy, but there doesn't seem to be much to write about here. We have been to the the lake and attended some parties. Dave is working hard, I'm still training and Nick seems to always be at football practice....which he is really loving. Tomorrow they start 2 a days (thankfully the temps are supposed to cool down a bit from the triple digits of last week) and then the week ends with a scrimmage on Friday. We are also getting ready for Nick to start high school a week from Monday. How is that possible? We have had several people share their Cooper sightings with us.....we love to hear those stories, thanks for sharing. I had one the other day. Some girlfriends and I were running early one morning on the trail, we were heading back and were tired, all of a sudden there was a hummingbird hovering right in front of us in the middle of the trail (I had never seen one there before) well we took it as a message from Coop to "keep on going.....you can do it". That certainly put a little spring in my step. Thanks Little Man. All of the "construction issues" at the cemetary that began on Cooper's birthday have finally been completed......and all of his stuff is back where it belongs. Now we can get back to peaceful visits. Cooper Field update: The non-profit corp docs are done and filed with the Secretary of State. We were able to get the name Cooper Field, Inc. We also have a non-profit tax i.d. This week we will finally be able to open a bank account. Those of you that sent in checks.....thank you so much for your patience, we will be depositing the money this week. We will be able to finally get things moving with this project. We will keep you posted. Thanks for checking in and for continuing to think of us and for keeping Cooper in your hearts and minds. We miss you so much buddy.
