Time just flies by. It doesn't seem like two years since Cooper passed. But it will be this Saturday. We are still very impressed with the support and care we receive from friends and family, as the healing process is ongoing, and will never completely end. We are continuing to help support other families with the help of Cooper's Garden, Inc. and the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children, Inc. As we see it, this is probably the most important and best way we can continue to honor those kids lost to the DIPG. Recently, I was asked to serve on the Board for the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children, and I am very honored by this appointment. I am looking forward to helping other families through their ongoing Butterfly Fund which supports families of children with brain and spinal cord tumors. This fund is sometimes the only support families have, because its virtually impossible to try to earn money and work during this time trying to support your child. It's also close to the 4th annual Tee Off for Cooper, which supports the BTFC and Cooper's Garden. We helped create a beautiful garden in Cooper's memory which is located at the Douglasville First United Methodist Church. The funds for this tournament now help support this area, and support the Butterfly fund. We will be announcing the very first recipient of the Cooper Bell Memorial Scholarship at the University of West Georgia at the golf tournament. This is an annual scholarship into the College of Art, for an incoming freshman student. On the eve of Cooper's two year anniversary, we have a friend who has put together an online video that is very good and has Cooper in it...
