Tara It was so nice to meet you.and I thank both you and Colton for the beautiful roses!. I hope you will continue to pass them out every Tuesday and that someone else's heart will be touched like you have touched mine. There's no doubt in my mind that Colton is an angel and that my friend Mary Jo "Jo" who loved children is looking after him and all the little children in heaven. God Bless You!  Love and Prayers from Betty Cain Oconto WI

I know how you are thinking. I feel the same way. God takes certain individuals when he feels the need for them by his side. I know this personally as well as through you and Jeff. The ones we love are smiling at us and are with us every second of every day.
Love to you all.

I'm so sorry to hear the news about Colton. I only met you (Tara) and Colton once. It was in the waiting room at St Vincent's. I was there with my son Jimmy. We talked about our boys a little bit and Thirty-One. Colton was adorable and seemed like such a sweet little boy. My heart is so sad for you. I'll be thinking of and praying for your family. Again, my deepest sympathy for your family.

Tara and Jeff,  I am so saddened by the passing of Colton.  We have never met, but I am a friend of Anna's so, Camden and Kylin certainly know me!  When we originally heard that Colton was diagnosed with cancer in Denver, we had had a baby llama at that same time.  We named him Colton, with the hope that he would get to meet 'his' llama someday.  We still have him and Colton is having a blast playing with the llama as an Angel!   My heart goes out to all of you.    (((HUGS))) as you experience the toughest days ahead....my prayers are with all of you!

Tara, I am so sorry for your loss. Colton stole my heart the first night I met him and I got a hug and kiss good night!! I never forgot about him; always asked about him and loved visiting him when you guys were in town. We always prayed for him, including Emilie and Gianna's class when they were in school. He was such a little lover and friend and will never be forgotten. Much love and prayers for your entire family.

"WHEN GOD CALLS LITTLE CHILDREN"

When God calls little children
to dwell with him above,
We mortals sometime question
the wisdom of his love
For no heartache compares with
the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world,
seem wonderful and mild
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to his fold,
So He picks a rosebud,
before he can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so he takes but a few
To make the land of Heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still
somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs
we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find.

Thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

I would love to see the Steinhorst family still do the things on Colton's Bucket List - it would be a great time for the family to remember all the good things and good times as well as help them all with the healing process. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I would love to help with anything that I possibly can to ease things for you all now. I know how hard everything is and difficult it is and I hope knowing there are people who care and are at the ready to help makes it a little easier.
