JULY 26 Homecoming..

Cole was welcomed home Saturday about 5 pm. The departure from Madonna was bittersweet with a morning full of farewell visits around St. Joseph Wing.  Traveling by van and taking breaks at rest stops went smoothly.  Cole, Crystal and Lincoln were greeted at the house by colorful balloons and WELCOME signs posted in their yard!  As Cole surveyed the improvements made inside and outside their house he was left without words...but a heartful of thanks to everyone who has been "PULLING FOR COLE".   Now it was time to settle in as a family of 3 after three and a half months of hospitalization.  In that time Cole has been determined to pursue his recovery process.  He is an inspiration, Crystal is a tower of strength, and Lincoln a big "helper".
Together they will move on to the next step in Cole Nilson-Pursuit Recovery (his facebook page)
Next week Cole will visit Younkers Rehabilitation in Des Moines for the next phase of recovery.  Pray that God will continue to bring all the right people alongside of Cole, Crystal,  & Lincoln to help them climb the mountains in this journey.  They have met the most incredibly caring people in the past months.    Cole is looking forward to being in the community and seeing friends and supporters!
