I'm Cole Ashton Carpenter.

I was born on 10-14-06 and was diagnosed with AT/RT at 6 months old. I'm a St. Jude's patient that's survived agressive chemo, radiation, 4 surgeries, oral chemo and now I'm at home bi-having monthly scans that tell the doctors I'm "ALL CLEAR! No tumors detected!"

Just wanted to update you. Sorry it has been so long but we have been very caught up in enjoying a normal life, I haven't had much time for the computer. I'm sure there is more than a few families that uderstand the gift and beauty of a "normal day." Cole has just gone to sleep, very tired after going to see his sister play softball and his brother play football. He cheered for Leah, After some one else said go Leah! Cole said, "EE-AH!" so loud Leah heard him in the outfield! We are all doing wonderful. Cole has joined a little group at a local church on Thursdays where he has made some new little friends and big ones too. He is having a blast playing with the kids. He was so excited today when we got there, he was straining against the straps of his car seat to get out. The best news is that Cole has taken several steps all on his without holding on to anything for two nights this weeks. Also I wanted to remind everyone that Monday September 29, Chili's restaurant will be donating 100% of their profits to St. Jude. They built the Chili Care Center last year for St. Jude. Cole gets all of his MRI's there now, so please support them on that day. Thanks and God Bless All!

Terry
