Cody had an eckocardogram (not sure on spelling) done this morning at Strong. He had to have it done because the next round of chemo could damage his heart. They said that his heart looks good. They had to sedate him for it. They gave him medicine by mouth to put him asleep. This was the first time he had this medicine. He woke up with diareha. The nurse said that it is one of the side effects. He also is not eating well which is another side effect. He has only eaten 6 oz since he woke up so now I am worried about dehydration. His butt is raw again from the diareha. I am at a lose. It is such a viscous cycle between him not eating and his butt. I feel so bad for him. It is amazing that he is so happy. He was laughing and cooing when he woke up. I think he really liked the drugs :) I am counting down the days till Cody will be done with all of this and can see what life is really like.
