Clara was discharged from the hospital this afternoon. It came as a big surprise to us but we are relieved to be home. So far we have administered three feedings with minimal complications. Clara is still trying to get adjusted to the food intake and sometimes it hurts her stomach after we finish. Really it is going to be a learning curve for all of us over the next few weeks.

We have an aggressive feeding plan in place to help Clara get back to where she needs to be. Next Tuesday, we will go to the pediatrician to see how she is doing with her weight and for her to look at the incision. We will also go to the surgeon at the end of next week (we hope) for a post surgery follow-up.
