Hey everyone.  Sorry it has been so long since an update.  Claire continues to do well despite a couple trips to the hospital.  She was in back in April and may for a few days each. No infections just dehydration mostly (she gets "dry" very easily) and the usual Claire "oddities".  We had a big meeting with Dr. Sanders last week and she declared Claire cured of the Red Cell Aplasia (the inability to produce red blood cells-the main reason behind the Bone Marrow Transplant) as well as cured of the GVH.  Claire still has a lot of other concerns but at least it is nice that the big, life threatening issues are resolved. We are starting to taper her "big gun" GVH meds and Debbie and I are cautiously optimistic that hopefully the GVH won't flare up during this taper. Despite being proclaimed "cured" by Dr. Sanders, there is still a potential for the GVH to flare up.  We will see.  Bottom line is Claire is doing great.  Her eating has improved and we are planning on having her start pre-school in the fall.  Aubrey is back for the Summer and that always is a huuuuuge (yes, that is  huge with 5 "u"s) help.  I am working on putting together a blog for Claire so we can post more pictures than we can on this site.  I will let you know when it is ready.  Thanks as always for your support.
