Cindi finished up with her radiation treatment today. We were able to get in to the Seattle Cyberknife Center at Swedish Hospital. The staff and facility were excellent! Cindi handled the treatment very well. The bad news is that only one of the three areas of disease were treated. The original scan had two tumors, but the staff at Swedish picked up on a third and think the area off of one of the original is larger. We have not gotten confirmation of this from DC, a bit frustrating. Regardless, this means that she will be undergoing more chemo (huge bummer). This is expected to start in the next month or so. But the area treated was the most concern to her 'team' of doctors.

She continues to amaze me with her strength and spirit. I will let you know when chemo starts and how long it is predicted to last.
