It has been 4 months since our beloved CJ crossed over into that next place… our lives continue to be changed forever from our brief but oh so beautiful and bold time with CJ. Yesterday afternoon, Chad planted 4 blueberry trees. The trees were given to us by our dear 83 year old friend, whose husband planted the “grandfather” of the blueberry trees, over 20 years ago…. We watered them with lots of love!
This morning, Noah and I went out on our back deck to sort the recycling. It was a beautiful, early Fall like morning, you could feel change in the cool air….there was a sweet but strong breeze blowing through the tall pine trees that surround our house. Noah looked up at me and said, “ Look Ma Ma, CJ breeze!” and then he rode off on his tricycle singing, la, la, la, la, la!
In church this morning, our pastor’s sermon was on “The Simple Stuff of Life!” And the scripture reading was John 3:16-31. There were beautiful sunflowers around the church… big, bright yellow and brown sunflowers, some alive in vases of water and others were picture images on the screens. When the congregation sang On Eagle’s Wings, I felt a lightness in my heart and a reminder of the incredible walk of faith we are called to continue on….and during the chorus, I found myself singing from the bottom of my heart loud & proud “ And he will raise you up on eagle’s wings bear you on the breath of dawn, make you to shine like the sun, and hold you in the palm of his hand.”
We hope you find a moment today, to pause and feel the CJ breeze in the trees….to breathe….to let go… to hold on… to remember… to feel peace in your heart and soul and trust that somehow, someway….all is in divine order and we are not separated but we are all united, we are together…always connected….as my Dad say’s “Love flows in two directions” In honor of CJ, we hope you take the time to stop and feel his mighty love.
Love & Gratitude,
Maggie, Chad, Noah & Angel CJ

Small said, “But what about when we are dead and gone, will you love me then, does love go on?” Large held small snug as they looked out at the night, at the moon in the dark and the stars shining bright. “ Small, look at the stars, how they shine and glow, some of the stars died a long time ago. Still they shine in the evening skies, for you see, Small, love like starlight never dies….” –Debi Gliori
