I just wanted to say "I'm So Sorry For Your Loss". You guys mean a lot to me and I am the man I am today because of you guys. You teaching me in football and class really made an impact. I feel like the way you loved your wife really showed me how to love a woman. I could tell how important she was to you everytime you talked about her. I know it has been a while, but I was always happier after talking with christine. She always made me smile and always had a lighthearted look on everything. I am so thankful you all are a strong christian family and we all will see her again soon. I love you guys and my family wanted to wish you all the best in the trying times ahead. Again, THANK YOU COACH for being such a good mentor and Christine was also.

Love,

As I sit hear in tears and a heavy heart it just seems impossible that this could be. I am at a loss for words.
Was on the road traveling and not able to get this sad news until now. Since CB was down until about 7:30 this morning I am just now reading this.

PRAYING for all of you and knowing HE doesn't make mistakes.
GOD BLESS!!!

We are so sorry for your loss, but echo a lot of what others have said.  Christine will live on as an inspiration to so many!  I do know that she was welcomed into God's kingdom with a well done, my god and faithful servant!  Know that we will continue to pray as you go through this difficult adjustment.  Prying for peace first and for joy to return.  Love to you all

My thoughts and prayers have been with your family this whole week and even more the last few days. Words can't describe how much Christine has shown a light into my life and I only "knew" her online through this page and on facebook. She was and is such an inspiration to so many others. Know going forward that she is right there with you, cheering you on from above at every game, every event, every day and is your biggest fan. She was such a trooper and gave it her all. She has been rewarded and you will see her again. Hold on to each other and never let go. You have a strong family and many around you. Hugs to everyone.

Pendley Family,

I am so sorry for your loss and our loss.  I will miss seeing Christine at all of the CRMS and AHS events in which her children participated.  She was such a supporter of them and us throughout times when I know she did not feel well.  Nevertheless, she would put on her beautiful smile and find something good to say about her situation.  I am certain that your support system will carry you through this difficult time and that her legacy will live on through her family and friends.

One thing that Christine did that was so precious was to be so open about everything.  This site it such a wonderful way to stay connected to your friends without being exposed to the world (not that she would have minded).

Bryan, please continue to update us on the children and the college fund.

Blessings and peace,

Beth

I did not personally know your family but have been following your journey with breast cancer.  I lost a great friend a few years ago and I know what she went through with this ugly disease.  You are such a loving family and I send my heartfelt sympathy to you all.  May Christine rest in peace no longer in pain.  I'll keep your family in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with Steve, children, Becky and Bryan. It is a sad time, but also a glorious one as Christine has moved on to her heavenly life. I went back and looked at her first post on this blog and even then she was asking for everyone's prayers for Steve, Chase, Abbey, Alex and Emma. She was always thinking of others first. This is a true testament of how we should all strive to follow in her footsteps; to be able to look after others even when we ourselves have major obstacles to overcome. She is truly an angel watching over us and praying for us. Love to all the Pendleys, Myls and Fontes as we struggle for peace and understanding. You have fought the hard battle right along beside her. She won her battle and is at peace now. Our struggle will continue in the days to come, but with continued faith we (maybe) can live up to what Christine would want for all of us. RIP Christine!

Bryan...thank you for being Christine's voice during the difficult times of her journey. Your humor and courage are a sure sign of a brother's love to honor such an amazing sister!

Steve, I believe Christine exemplified the qualities (too many to name) for Christian women to strive to obtain. She set the bar high....really high! We are here for you and the kids! Still praying and loving you all!!
