Christie’s Story

Site created on April 8, 2007

When Christie was 20, she was up at Windy Gap, a Young Life camp in Weaverville, NC. All of a sudden, the horse she was on was scared and started to run. She fell off, hit her head on a fence post and was lifted by helicopter into Mission Hospital. This is a story of her journey though the injuries and her recovery. God is very prominent through it all… as He is with every life.

I am so blessed in that right now I am living in Perth, Australia working with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). I am sorry if you have not received any other information about it, but I wanted to make sure you were aware of how to keep in touch with me now.

I have a blog now, which is mywalkwithhim.com
If you would like to know more about why I'm in Perth, the website for that is: https://www.modernday.org/field-workers/christiesmith831/

Feel free to email me and ask to be in the group that I email about how it's going in Perth presently.

Lastly, I spoke at a staff meeting we had here earlier this month and I've posted it. It's at https://vimeo.com/388158842
