Dear praying friends,

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. The Lord gave me the gift of having all my children home with me for Christmas and New Year's, and even though we were all missing Chris, there was a deep joy in my heart as I watched my children singing, playing games, talking and laughing together, and sharing in this precious life God has given us together.

I've been eagerly waiting for the day when I can finally announce that my new blog, is launched,'s not. At least, not quite ready. God is teaching me some more about patience and that His timing is the best.

I am thankful to report that it will very soon be ready, possibly even this week. Thank you for your prayers for me and my family and even for this desire to have a regular blog site. I'm really very excited especially that on the new site you'll be able, as you feel led, to easily and instantly share any of my posts with those you know and love.

It is my desire that the Lord would use all that He has brought us through these past many years may be a means of encouragement and hope to other believers.

One of the features I have loved about the CaringBridge site is the ability to sign up to receive email notification when I've posted a new entry. I want to continue to provide that feature on my blog site, but haven't been able to add that option just yet.

So in the meantime, if you have been following my CaringBridge entries and would like to continue to receive notification by email of new entries on my blog, I invite you to email me at to receive email notification when I post entries on my new blog.

I also wanted to let you know that for the next couple of weeks at least, I will continue to post my blog entries on this CaringBridge site as well as my new blog site once it launches.

As always, I am so grateful for your prayers and the meaningful ways so many of you have ministered to me and my family. You have been a beautiful picture of how the body of Christ cares for one another. May the Lord give us His joy as we serve Him with thankful hearts. He is good...all the time!

Grateful for Jesus, and how He knits hearts together,

PS--If you've signed up for email notification from CaringBridge, you will receive two notices, one for this letter, and one for my new blog entry which will follow this one momentarily. God bless you!
