During this holiday season, I take the time to remember and pray for those who have given their lives for our safety.  I think of you often, and of those who have loved and miss you so terribly.  They are also in my prayers, especially at this time of year.  The sacrifice of you and your loved ones will never be forgotten.  Wishing all of you a Blessed Christmas Season!

Blessed be the peacekeepers!!!  I am the wife of a Deputy in WI (daughter of a retired Deputy too!).
Last week I was in DC and found Chris' name on the National Law Enforcement Memeorial Wall and was moved to tears thinking of all that these families and loved ones have had to go through!
I am thinking of you and the families/friends affected by Chris!  Hugs to you all.

Dearest Em,  Thinking of you and Chris today as we lay a Mendota Heights officer to rest. I often wonder how you are doing and what you are up to. I hope that time has been healing for you. You don't know me. I followed Chris' story as it was happening, I still "Do a Dewey" aka pay it forward. Take care and God Bless. Holly

I have been thinking about you and other heroes in law enforcement especially lately.  Know that I have not forgotten the sacrifices made by you and your loved ones.  You all remain in my prayers daily.  Thank you is so little, but is comes with the deepest gratitude and respect for you all!

Today is the anniversary of that fateful day in 2008.  Spent your birthday, last week, with Hannah and Em.  They miss you like crazy.  We spent the day raising money to help support the survivors.  We honored you and your family for your sacrifices.

This year Hannah will ride 1000 miles in honor of you and other fallen officers.  We will never, never forget.  Please continue to watch over us, as we take your watch here on earth.  Love and blessings

My name is Dave and I took care of Chris when he was at Craig Hospital near Denver, CO.  He will always be remembered in my heart and mind!  I'm also a cyclist (on trails) and recently started naming my routes after people I've known or heard about who I want to remember.  Today, I rode 23 miles and named my route after Chris!  http://www.dailymile.com/people/DaveW20/entries/25978843

Thought about Chris today, and Emily. Coming from a family with a retired police officer, my heart still beats for you all and I pray the sunshine keeps glowing and brings beams of light down from Chris. Thank you for the updates following Chris' passing. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

Sincerely,
