Thank you for praying for us.
It has been a challenging 7 days, but I am thankful as we approach the 4 week mark since Chris' accident.
It is important to restate how thankful our family is for Chris' life and how far he has come in such a comparatively short time. We are grateful to the Beaufort Police Department, our community, our church, Community Bible Church, Beaufort Memorial, MUSC and the rehab center. Everyone has been so supportive and encouraging. We are also thankful for our many friends in Charleston for their care and support of us... especially in housing us.
Chris looks really good. It is hard for him to stay in bed and not be able to get up and around. He is very uncomfortable and hurts, but we are hopeful that when he is cleared to get up, that will resolve some of these issues.
Please pray for his comfort and for his encouragement. Thank you for the calls and cards and visits.
We have been getting his mail through the Beaufort Police Department and they have been hand delivering it to us.
The children and I had some bumps in the road getting adjusted to being together again and the problems that come with moving to a new place... but are now settling in well.
I would ask that you pray for me to remember who I am in Christ and that this is something I can walk through with His help.
Love to you all.... char
