My Story

About two years ago Chiara had started showing symptoms that something was not quite right with her body. It started with an irregular heart rate called SVTs. She would have episodes where her heart would beat faster than 140 beats per minute. A few months after she had started having frequent nose bleeds and headaches.

Hello Everyone,

Well we are back and finally settled in from our trip that Make a Wish has provided us. So settled that we are ready to go back on vacation. :)

As a family, we cannot even put into words what that trip has ment to us. Make a Wish not only gave us that trip but Royal Caribbean had given us the VIP treatment while onboard to make our stay extra special. Chiara will fill you in in detail but one thing we got to do was meet the captin of the ship and see the bridge of the ship. Very Cool.

It was a great great time as a family and Chiara will be sharing later this weekend. In the meantime, we have posted a few photos for her from our trip.

Some Good News came our way this week concerning her treatments. The Dr. recomended that instead of 2 seperate treatments of Chemo 6 months apart, she will now only now need 1 treatment a year.

She will start this treatment next week so we will be in NYC for 1 week off for one week then back for 1 more week. We are praying everything goes well.

Thanks for checking in, and have a very Blessed and Great Easter,

The Squillace's
