I have not signed in a while..... (I was on a an airplane heading to Florida for business when the email came from Tanner's teacher about Chase (my two kids were in the same classes at Jeffers as Tanner and Ava). I delayed my meeting in Florida and went straight to the hospital instead where we prayed, cried in the lobby.

I just wanted you to know that I have not forgotten about Chase and I am praying for him daily...his name is written big in my prayer journal and he gets lots of prayers.... It is fun to see how far he has come since We prayed together so long ago..... God is good and I can see Him working in all of your lives. You are such an inspiration and a great example to so many, thank you for letting His light shine through you.

I just wanted you to know that I am still committed to praying for Chase, it is fun to see your posts to see how the Big Guy is answering these prayers.

Keep up the good work, you guys are awesome!

Looking good Chaser!   Keep chugging along buddy!  Seems like you're doing great, and the hard work continues to pay off.  I look forward to each and every inch of improvment!  We are always cheering you on, whether you hear from us or not... we all know how hard it is NOT to hear Riley, but it does happen!  =)   See you soon I'm sure!!

Awesome all the way around! Thank you Lord for continuing to answer our prayers. Zyrtec sure helps me and I hope it really does the trick for Chase. This spring has been pretty bad for seasonal allergies. Continued blessings on you all! Hold on tight sweet Chase:-). Love from SC.

Dear Lykken Family,
So hear your disappointment in the tough issues you and Chase are dealing with daily.  Praying much for each of you.  Also thankful for the progress he has made and is making even though at times it seems very small..
Keep looking up!
Hugs, love and prayer,

Lykken Family,

We were on the cruise the day this happened and have followed your story every day since then. We have prayed for you all every day and will continue to do so. When I read your posts I sit back and say wow these parents are an inspiration to us all, some people would have given up but not you and we have such admiration for you all. It seems Chase has made great strides in the last year and I must confess that when I watch the videos you post I cry every time, you should all be proud of him even when it seems to be getting harder. We are all still here praying for you and we wish Chase the best!

Oh my Gosh!  So exciting!  I am having technical difficulties (on my own part) viewing the video at the moment, but I am so excited to see and hear about you talking to Dad!  It's so great to hear about all the great steps forward Chase is making!  Big or little -- it is forward.  My Grandma always said 'slow and steady wins' the race!  And I never question my Grandma!  (She was certainly right when she told me all those brownies would catch up to me someday!)   =)    Way to go Chase, keep up the hard work!  It's really paying off!
