Dear Friends & Relatives,
First of all, we would like to wish you all have a joyous holiday season with your family and friends.
Everyone in the family has been very busy and the summer went through very fast for us. Anne is doing very well on her ‘new’ job. After 3 months, she has a lot responsibilities on the Adobe account. She is on the 7-7 Bay Area life style now! The good thing is that she is enjoying her job. As a 21 years young lady, she is doing very well. Beth and Ping are enjoying their life with no night school now. Of course, they are still very busy with their career and social life in Minneapolis.
I had 3 business trips to southern Ca. during the summer/fall and have successfully delivered the first order smoothly with strong support from the supplier. I’m working on the next order that scheduled to be delivered in Feb. I have met several of Jong’s business associates in the past 3 months in U.S. and overseas. As I learned more about the business, I know that there will be more challenges coming up for me. My philosophy on running the business is moving forward step-by-step as planed and do my best! God will take me to the right path.
Late Oct., I took my parents to Taiwan and Japan for a 3 weeks trip. We all had wonderful time to meet with friends in Taiwan and a brief vacation in Japan. In Taiwan, I not only met with my friends and schoolmates, but also got together with Jong’s high school classmates. Some of them I have not seen them since the ‘70s! During our vacation in Japan, I was very lucky to have one of Jong’s university schoolmate (Mr. & Mrs. Peter Hu) in the same tour, they were so kind in helping take care my parents through the whole tour.
No matter what, we’re so thankful and lucky to be surrounded by such rich friendships.
May God bless you and your family.
Jean, Ping, Beth and Anne
