Today is Chad's six month check-up day, seventeen tubes of blood were withdrawn earlier this morning for various test to be done in the next couple of day's. At this time he's having a "bone marrow biopsy", the results will determine if his spleen has to be removed or not? This is not a pleasant procedure for Chad to go through, sometimes it goes short and smooth while most have be long and hard. They actually insert a needle into his hip bone then try to extract the marrow. Chad has very dense bone mass so accomplishing this isn't easy and sometimes can't be done at all. The analysis of this procedure won't be know until Friday or Monday at best. Bone Marrow Biopsy just completed, only took forty five minutes and they got a super draw. Chad had very little discomfort this time, very usual for this procedure, he's very pleased! We're headed for a omelette and coffee.....
