Queridos Rebeca y Antonio,
It was with profound sadness that we learned of Chila´s passing. She was a very strong and caring person who made important contributions in furthering the education of hundreds of young enthusiastic men and women. Having had the opportunity to grow up together in Rancho Preciado, I have fond memories of us growing up together as cousins. Tio Bernardino and tia Rebeca, Rosy, Ralph, Conchita and their children, your cousins. Time flew, we went our separate paths and had the opportunity to connect after many years when Chila and Tony came to Stanford. Again our lives took us in separate roads and we had a chance to see each other and see your dad, Tony in Mexico City. It was a wonderful opportunity for Andrea, our daughter, you cousin to spend part of the summer with you at Casa Zapata, and perhaps less memorable for you, Rebeca to spend a short time with us in Mexico City in our tiny apartment.
Our deepest condolences and our prayers for her, Tony, , your uncle Ralph and his family , the rest of the Burciaga family, both of you your spouses and your children.
Receive our love,
josé ignacio y patricia
