Rebeca and Toño, my deepest
condolences. I know you will miss her. Take comfort in knowing she is in a
better place, not suffering, and that she lived a rich life that touched many
people including my own. She was a mentor and friend to me and many others. We are all saddened by her passing and will miss her. Your and your family are in my prayers.

Dear Family,
I know that Cecilia's passing was expected, but I'm still so very, very sorry to learn of this. I know it's a huge loss for her family particularly. When my own mother died of cancer, even though I knew it was coming, still nothing quite prepared me for it. I'm glad that you were able to have her as long as you did. She was a special person, and she'll continue to live in all of you.

I send the family my thoughts, love, and prayers.  Those of us that were fortunate enough to have Tony and Cecilia in our lives will always remember them in our hearts.  They won't be lost to us, ever.

Rebeca and Toño, thank you for always sharing your wonderful parents with the rest of us.

Rebecca and Tono,

I don't know why, but I was surprised to learn that Cecilia died-- she always seemed invincible. She was as fortunate to have you as you were to have her, especially during her illness. My thoughts are with the two of you as we'll as Cecilia and Tony.

My heart celebrates her life at this hour.  My eyes however, register a feeling of loss to the world with her passing. She has left us blessings in so many forms.  May we all recognize them.....and be a blessing to others as we now pause to consider both life and death.  As I live in Monterey, I shall look ahead to hearing when her family, and we, her friends can meet in her honor/remembrance at Carmel Mission!  Prayers and heartfelt love to each at this memorial time and event.

From Japan we send our love and sorrow at Cecilia's passing.  We also celebrate her life and rejoice in the wonderful visit we had with her a few short weeks ago.  Tono and Rebe, you gave so much love to your mother and I know how blessed she was to have you all by her side.  Abrazos from here, Ron and Joan Arias

My deepest heartfelt condolences for your loss.

When I was a young woman, college student and new mother, Cecilia offered advice and support that encouraged and motivated me to stay in school and reach for the stars.  She never waivered in her beliefs and served as fantastic role model for many.

This world has lost a wonderfully spirited woman.
