My Story

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him."

Hi everyone.  Things are going great.  Last week Cayman participated in his first Relay For Life.  We had a blast.  He took part in a survivor's dinner, took the first honorary lap around the track with his two friends that are also survivors (see pics- the little one is Mycah and the tall one is Natalie), and took fun in the bounce house, face painting and too much more to even write.  In a nutshell, he had a blast.  We want to say thanks to everyone who donated on his behalf to the American Cancer Society.  We will find a cure for cancer one day!

Cayman has two weeks left of his Kindergarten year.  He graduates on Tuesday.  He said, "Mom, I know you're gonna cry when you see my graduate, especially when you hear me singing a beautiful song."  Boy does he know me.  I'm sure I will bawl like a baby, just like Mike and I did when he made the lap around the track at Relay.  Every small milestone to other people is a hugh milestone for us knowing that we are truly blessed to a have a survivor.  I will add graduation pics next week.

In September we will hit our two year mark off treatment!  Go Cayman!!!

In the meantime, please continue to pray for our little friend Carson who is going through treatment a second time.  Take a moment to write a word of encourgement on his sight, he would love it:
