Cass started her third and final year of preschool today! She was very excited-a little tough to get up this morning, but by the time we pulled up, she was ready to go! When I went to pick her up, she told me she had a great day and met some new friends-all her friends from last year went on to kindergarten, so she had all new kids in her class this year. I put a picture in the photo area of her first day outfit-of course, she wanted "pony-pony" in her hair (which is 2 pony tails).... In other news, I'm getting a little worried about a few things...the other day, Cassidy took off her shoes and her Daddy told her to wiggle her toes on her right foot. Well, she couldn't-at all. I don't remember at all ever having her try to do this before, but I was shocked. Then, a few days ago, Cass and I were playing the game, "Hi Ho Cherri-O!". I always make her use her right hand to pick up her cherries and put them in her basket-just a little therapy when she doesn't realize it...anyway, she was picking up a cherry and her right hand was shaking so bad-she could hardly drop the cherry into the basket. I could tell she was getting frustrated because she told me she wanted to use her other hand because it's easier. She was so upset that her hand was shaking-her fine motor skills have seemed to have gone downhill a bit since she "graduated" from OT. Funny how that happened...I have put an e-mail into her therapist, both physical and occupational, and we'll see what happens. And in yet other news, Cass started gymnastics last Saturday-she is so excited to be starting! I will get some pictures of her next class and post them. Also, she starts back up with horseback riding on September 6th-she's very happy to be doing that again.
