We are home!!
This daughter of ours is just amazing!!! You would never know she had surgery today. She hasn't slept since she the recovery room. She wanted to stop and eat at Arby's, I was a little nervous about that but she was fine. We made a few stops and each time I checked with her and she said 'I'm fine'. We stopped at Nae and Ehric's too!! Everything she has eaten has stayed down. I don't know where she inherited her ability to handle anthesia but it sure wasn't from me or Rex.
The surgery went well. They made an incision right where the incision was made when they put in the port. Right now it is all covered up and needs to stay that way for 3 days. They did have trouble getting the IV into her, they blew a vein in her hand so that is swelled up and will probably turn blue and etc. Cassie got to keep the port, which will go in her scrapbook.
Her mouth was still hurting this morning but was better. When she got of out surgery she said her throat didn't hurt anymore. But the work of the guy above, because they didn't do anything to make it go away!!
