Thinking about you CJ as I take a break from all my studying demands in nursing school up here at UF! In fact, I just met two girls in my class who know of you from back home and heard about your story, they told me to keep them posted on how you're doing :) I love reading how hard you're working and how strong you are every day to achieve your goals and YOU WILL!

Love always,

What a wonderful gift from God!!  Maybe this will be the answer for C.J.'s being able to communicate with everyone besides all the other things he can use it for!!  Prayers for C.J. To continue with all his usual activities along with this new amazing help.  God bless you all!!!!

Thanks for the update... sounds as though you are in good hands and that things are progressing as they should.  Sorry to hear about the swallowing difficulty, but was elated to hear about the dentist and his son!  Thanks for sharing!  You are still my idol family.  You would make Winston Churchill proud by never never never never never giving up!

Blessings,

Delighted to hear all of the many things you have going on at Shepherd! It is such an awesome facility, spent some time visiting a friend there this past year. Continuing to pray for you all and CJ, you are all so strong and set such a beautiful example for everyone. God bless you and thank you for sharing the journey as it continues one day at a time.

Hello Kathy and Barry, I know how bittersweet this trip back to Shepherd is, but it's also great to hear hat he is now at Pathways. Im glad to hear  that he is learning to hold a toothbrush and changing his shirt, as we know how small things like these bring joy to us. I always admired how aggressive the team at Shepherd is, and I love how much they work with them...not a second of the day goes by that they are not being pushed further and work harder. Keep the Faith...For God has great plans for all of you. Always praying and thinking of Casey.

Many Blessings and Light,
Cristina, Rick, Chris and Sofia Lujan

Tears in my eyes as I sign this...We are so blessed to have Casey and Joran still progressing when the professionals were ready to give up.  This morning our pastor talked about those who have suffered loss and still grieve.  Jim leaned over and said, it could have been Joran.  But Joran and Casey are persistent, running the race for the long haul - and I trust God and His promises - they will prevail, God will prevail, and may their healing ultimately be to God's GLORY! Hallelujah!
