Good Morning Bicknell's,
May I say, you are the most endearing, strongest family I believe I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.  Hearing about how wonderful you are through my daughter's eyes was one thing, however meeting Barry and Brittany in person and seeing Casey again was another!!  Casey, when you looked at me in the eye, those beautiful blue eyes,  you looked directly into my soul.  I felt such a warm gentle connection yet as gentle as it was, it was also strong and reassuring, and left me with your positive energy.  I felt like you were letting Marlaina and I know you were getting stronger and missed us. Your hug that you gave Marlaina told it all as well!!!  Your love for life and the people around you is HUGE, I must tell you that you are my HERO:)  Please plant your Christmas tree and every Christmas that we can we want to visit you and watch you grow as strong as your new tree!!  Brittany, I told my story to your Dad and I can't tell you how you brought tears to my eyes as to the most wonderful sister any guy could have.  Your love just shines through.  I have wished and prayed many times that I could have been there for my brother. I would have been just like you, but I didn't get that chance.  I would have given anything to have it. I am so glad that you are there for him.  You are so strong, your family and friends must be so proud of you.  Your parents are amazing; as we all know there is absolutely nothing in life, nothing harder then what you have experienced.  No one can ever understand unless they have been through it.  May God give you all his love and compassion and strength and guidance along this journey to get Casey stronger everyday.  Barry, when you finish the gym please give me a shout.  With your help, I would like train Casey and get his muscles stronger!!  We can't thank you again for giving us your time and energy.  We can only imagine how every single second of life is a challenge, however you can say your doing it and much, much, much more.  You never give up and that is why you will succeed .........much more, and more and more!!
With Lots of Love and Affection,  Linda and Marlaina Fruggerio

Hi Casey,

Uncle Mike & I were just saying, again, what a great time we had seeing you and being with you and our family on Thanksgiving day.  Your smile just lights up the room and your laugh always melts our hearts but they seemed extra special this Thanksgiving.  We loved how your were smiling & teasing your sister, Brittany, and laughing at all the jokes your cousins were telling you.  We have to say that you seemed to take a little too much delight in beating us over and over with your "fist bump power push".  We demand a rematch when we see you for Christmas!

We are thinking of you as you get ready for another week of hard work @ FINR and we pray that God gives you the strength and help you need to keep climbing the ladder toward your goals.

We love you so much,

After reading your latest entry, it's good to hear that you are bounding back after your seizure. I was in Austin, TX on the Texas campus with Lauren today and told her about it. She said, "maybe it was some of the neurons beginning to fire up electrically that have not been working since the accident and a sign that Casey's brain is rewiring itself to take over functions that were lost in the impact area which might be a good thing. Since the pathways that might not have worked before are just starting up again, his body didn't know how to react. His muscles and electrical pathways are learning how to work all over again."  I thought her comment was pretty insightful especially reading how you bounced back after the seizure. Casey, no one knows what is going on inside your head except for our Heavenly Father. Don't stop working to get better. You are climbing that ladder, one step at a time.  The Lord works in mysterious ways and we have to accept his timetable for everything. Our prayers are for you to keep improving with Gods help and your determination to get better is your gift from him.

Sorry to hear about your seizure.  It must have been scary for you too.  God has a plan for you and it's only for your good.  Remember, it's always the darkest right before the light of dawn breaks through. Keep pushing forward because a breakthrough is near for you. Capt. Sea J this was a rough storm but there is a rainbow ahead. We will continue to pray for you and the whole family for strength, endurance and comfort.

"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" Isaiah 40:31

We are all looking forward to spending time with you this Thanksgiving holiday.  See you soon Casey.  We love you!
