Wahoo! Celebrating "1000" hits to the website! You guys are amazing at keeping tabs on dad! Well...he's doing ok after being home a week. He still seems weak with not a lot of stamina. He saw his family Dr yesterday to find out that his blood pressure was only 8? over 7?! You can tell I am NO Dr or Nurse! Lol Anyway, that is very low and he seemed to think he was taking too much of a medication for that and that was the problem. He cut the dose in half and is trying that for a week. The Dr and therapists back here who haven't seen him since the surgery thought he was doing very well! Said he had good color and over-all looked and seemed medically to be doig very good! Despite that encouraging news from the Drs, he himself isn't happy with where he's at right now in the recovery and it tends to get him down so....the best thing to do is pray for him, encourage him & praise him when we see the little improvements that maybe he has to look a little harder to see. Continue to lift both he & mom up to the Great Healer and Encourager to keep their spirits high as the long journey to recovery continues. Have a great day!
