Hello all! Monday was a great day for Patrick, Bailey and I. It marked one year since the day of my cancer diagnosis. Now I can say I have been a "survivor" for a year. Patrick took the day off and took me to Kansas City to just hang out for the day. It was so nice to relax, celebrate a small victory, and enjoy the beautiful day. (We have felt spoiled by the wonderful weather!)

So, what a year it has been. I am glad to be through all the treatments and "yucky" stuff. We couldn't have gotten through it all without all of our family and friends. What great support! My checkups have all been uneventful - which is great, and my hair is growing each day! Now, we just keep a close eye on things. I have learned so much from this experience and actually would call it a "good" life experience....
