Carol had her second Phenol treatment at the MSU Clinical Center last Friday. She has responded very well to both treatments. They were able to get her arms and hands extended nearly all the way. They would return to their former state, but Carol didn't seem to be in as much pain this time and it was easier to bend them outward.

Rich believes the doctor may also eventually treat Carol's knees and feet. The doctor will also evaluate the necessity of fine tuning Carol's fingers and thumbs.

Carol has received over 100 hyperbaric treatments so far, including the ones received in FL. Tish has seen a difference in Carol's complexion.

Rich is getting Carol's OT in full swing and is arranging for therapy to continue even after insurance is no longer paying. Praise the Lord!

Rich faithfully holds out hope for a miracle that his life mate will some day awaken and be able to speak to us. Please continue to lift Rich & Carol up in prayer to the Great Physician ~ Healer of all!

I would also like to thank those who have prayed for our family since my husband's recent stroke. Dave is home and having in-home therapy now ~ We are also just beginning the pursuit of permanent disability. I have been having some heart palpitations and have some heart tests scheduled of my own to make certain everything is OK. I have enjoyed so much being part of helping communicate to others for this lovely family and I have been greatly blessed by the outpouring of love for them. But the time has come, due to my own family situation, to back down and pass the baton onto someone else who may be willing to carry it forward.
