Dear CaringBridge readers, I have been home for two weeks now and have promised a letter to you. I just finished reading the journal and the many guestbook entries. Between the tears and memories I find so much comfort to realize how many people are praying for myself and my family. Our God is an awesome God. He has heard and answered your prayers. Thank you for praying and for your words of encouragement. Each day finds me feeling a little stronger. If I overdue it I take it a little easy the next day. I am so blessed to have family with me since I came home. I thank God that Curtis Laine was taking pictures by Johnson Lake that morning. Thank you Mr. Laine for your quick response and going into the cold water for me. I hope I can thank you personally some day. And Sandy Wills, God bless you. How can I ever thank you enough. First responders, ambulance crew, ER doctors and nurses, the list goes on and on, you are all my hero's and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Yes, April 28 was a tragic day and our hearts are heavy but we have the hope that we will see John again some day. God bless you all, Carol There's a land that is fairer than day, And by faith we can see it afar, For our Father waits over the way, To prepare us a dwelling place there. In the sweet, by and by; We shall meet on that beautiful shore; In the sweet, by and by; We shall meet on that beautiful shore.
