Journal entry by Carlie Jansen

After a long 7 year battle with cancer, Carlie's journey has come to an end.  Early in the morning on February 17, surrounded by family, Carlie entered the Lord's arms. Her body is restored, and she is in the presence of God painting beautiful pictures of Heaven. I thank everyone for all the prayers along this journey. They were always felt and comforting.

Visitations have been schedule for Friday, February 19, from 4:00-8:00 at Werner Harmsen in Waupun, WI and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 at First CRC in Waupun. The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday at 10:30 at First CRC in Waupun. The service will also be live-streamed on First CRC of Waupun's Facebook page.

Carlie's favorite verse and way she challenged herself to live despite everything she had been through.

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this God's will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
