Melissa- This morning at the Easter service Bruce asked specifically for prayers for Cannon. It is a wonderfully faith filled congregation whom Cannon now has to support him. May God's blessings be on Cannon and all of you especially this difficult week.
    God bless you all.

Your and Michael's strength is already unbelievable.  You have always been strong and you are also so vulnerable and honest in what you share.  ANY person going through this would have every thought you have but many people would tell themselves not to share them but not you---you bring us all with you on this difficult journey.  Thank you for making your innermost thoughts and pain known in a courageous way.  I hope you get strength from people who love and support you.  Sending love and prayers.

All of you are fighting this battle with Cannon, so my prayers have always included the entire team--family and close friends--who are going through so much in order for him to be cured.  On this Easter Sunday, as we celebrate the resurrection of God's son, my thoughts and prayers are for your son and others who need God to put his loving hands upon you and bless you as he blessed His own child.

    Dear Lord:

On this Good Friday and Easter weekend, we pray and beg that you help young Cannon and his parents get through the difficult week he will be facing next week and that you cure him of this awful disease. He is a very special child and has loving, God fearing parents who have fought courageously for Cannon and who have been heroes and inspirations to so many of us. Please spare this wonderful family and this sweet little boy of any more pain and suffering and please bless Cannon with a long and Happy Life.
In Jesus name we all pray. Amen

Hey mel and family remember what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and as a family and as individuals you are becoming stronger mother lion. Out of adversity we learn about ourselves as well as the world around us and sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. If we can encourage someone by our example it's better than giving them a million dollars ,that's valuable. So keep being such a wonderful example to us in courage because none of us know what is round the corner in life xxx

As one people pleaser to another, you go girl!! If we're not our children's advocates, who will be? As I get older, I realize tomorrow is promised to no one. While fighting the urge to people please (and while feeling guilty), I try do what I think is right and not what others may expect me to do. I never feel bad about what I've said, only what I didn't say.

You are a very good writer.  I am keeping Cannon in my prayer's I have followed many childhood cancer kids for the last 6 years.  The first time it was a request from a mutually friend then you get hooked and need to know if they are okay.  I have been following many for a long time but I rarely sign the guest book thinking praying is good enough.  Last summer my disabled adult son was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer.  I started a site to keep family and friends updated.  Never in a million years did I think I would need a Caring-bridge page.  Now I understand how important it is to sign the guest .

I am loving your last comment about 'said nurse'! I imagine if it were her child she would "go away" to get the best possible treatment for him or her too. People like that don't deserve your time or energy. As the song says..."Let it Go..."
You have millions of people supporting every decision you are making for your son. Don't let one crabby one bother you!!

Continued thoughts and prayers going to you and your family....
