Today is August 11, one year anniversary of Cameron's accident, this
morning we were at the place where Cameron went into the water, I read
Psalm 18 over the water and thanked God for each promise. We prayed a
blessing and protection over White Lake.
God has been so good this week, Thursday evening a group from the lake
gathered to hear Cameron share his story and his testimony, many people
were there from last year and were so encouraged to see him back and
doing so well, some remember the ambulance as they arrived at the lake,
and they were so glad to see Cameron back this year. Not only that, but
many wanted him to share more of his testimony with them, he has
several more invitations to come and speak at churches. An older
gentleman came to meet Cameron this morning and tears ran down his cheek
as he talked with Cameron, there were so many touching moments. As we
were leaving today a young woman that cleans rooms at Melwood Court
where we stay, came to the car just as we were leaving, and she told
Cameron that she had read the flier that was posted with a picture of
him on it, and a couple of days ago she had a dream about him and in the
dream she asked Cameron if he would pray for her and he took her hand
and prayed for her in her dream. So Cameron said well can I pray with
you, so he took her hand and prayed for her. God is doing an amazing
    work through Cameron.

If you were at the ACCHE Highschool graduation you were able to hear Cameron share a message with the graduating class of 2012. He has been praying for this event and that God would speak through him. I like the way Amy Jackson summed up Cameron's message as perfect advice..... "do what God created you to do, get in a relationship with Him and stay there." Cameron's message also includes, get a foundation in Jesus, all other foundations (College, sports, etc.) will not stand when the storms come, but a foundation built on Jesus will not fall.
Cameron an I will be both speaking at a church this Sunday, June 10th, my birthday, I cannot think of any other way to spend it than to share how good our God has been to us. Pointing others to Jesus and sharing about Faith in Him.

Happy Birthday Cameron, you are a joy and a mother's delight. Proverbs talks about a child who puts his trust in the Lord is like an ornament around his mother's neck. You have trusted in the Lord with all your heart, you do not lean on y...our own understanding, in all your ways you acknowledge God and He is directing your path. 19 on the 19th, this will be a great year for you, all of your years have been blessed and this year will be especially blessed as God uses you and works through you to increase His Kingdom. May your territory be enlarged, as you bless others around you with God's Love. You have the love of Jesus in you, I see it every moment of every day, you put others before yourself. You are already walking and running, God sees it and we see what God sees and say what God says. I love You, Mom.
