Everything is good!  So good that we do not have to go see his mito doctor for another year!  Wooo Hooo!  Dr Hainline did comment on Caleb's lack of muscle mass.  Caleb's weight has basically stayed the same this year and Dr Hainline said that is because the disease is preventing him from building muscle mass... Oh well!  We will just roll with it and see what happens!  We are having to be extra careful with the heat this year.  He seems to show signs of over heating much sooner than last year.  We are just really careful and have accepted the fact that we pretty much need to keep him wet whenever we are outside and it is too hot.  He is still eating!  And trust me, he REALLY eats!!!  And the great thing is he isn't picky at all!!  He loves broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, potatoes and I don't think I have found a fruit that he doesn't like either!  I know, I know, the next question is when does the tube come out?  It doesn't.  He still has EIGHT medicines that he has to take on a daily basis so we still use the tube for that.  Also, next time he gets sick, we have instant access to keep him hydrated and out of the hospital.  Anything to keep him out of the hospital!!  I foresee him having his tube for at least another 2-3 yrs, probably longer.  At this point we do not see any need in changing things.  We are all comfortable with it and it is just a part of Caleb.   Well, nothing else going on right now... talk to you all later!  Thanks for checking in with us!
