My Story

Caleb was born in April of 2002 and has been, up until recently, a normal, healthy little boy. But on September 20, 2006, Caleb was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Caleb has now successfully completed induction, consolidation, and reinduction 1 & 2. We can't believe it, but we are now down to 5 weeks of the maintenance protocol. God is good!

The Lord continues to bless so abundantly.  Caleb's surgery is now over, and he is in recovery.  Both procedures, the ear tube placement and the port removal, were successful, and we are simply waiting for him to wake up at this point.

We so thank each of you for the prayers that you have lifted up, not only for this procedure, but for the time that we have been a part of this process.  We do ask you to contiue to pray about the dizziness and weakness that he has experienced over the past two weeks.  At this point, again, there is not much alarm, but we will continue to monitor this closely.

We have to hang out here at the Jude for about 2-3 hours, and then, we can head to the house.  Unless we have to return for a fever in the next couple of weeks or a follow up with the ENT, we will not be back for four months.  Four months!  Can you believe that?  That sounds pretty good, huh?
