My Story

Cadence was diagnosed with AML M7 6 days after her first birthday. She completed 5 rounds of chemotherapy, getting out of the hospital April 5th, 2007. She relapsed in late April. Following a week of chemotherapy, She underwent a bone marrow transplant on May 31, 2007.

I was looking at the calendar today and it dawned on me that as of yesterday Cadence has been gone (668 days) longer than she was alive (667 days).

She is in our thoughts daily and it is still shocking to see how much time has passed.

Even though we do not post with regularity, we do indeed still read the guest book. The messages are always appreciated and mean so much.

Thank you.
