Cadence was diagnosed with AML M7 6 days after her first birthday. She completed 5 rounds of chemotherapy, getting out of the hospital April 5th, 2007. She relapsed in late April. Following a week of chemotherapy, She underwent a bone marrow transplant on May 31, 2007.

Here is a slideshow of her first year of life and first 6 months of treatment.

Very excited to go and help with a Bone Marrow Drive today. To help educate and register people to help people Be A Hero, Become A Donor!!!! There are some amazing things happening in the stem cell world. Auntie Meg just sent me this article regarding bone marrow transplants and what they've discovered regarding MS-multiple sclerosis!!!!
