Well, It is getting close to a year since Cade's injury and I thought I would everyone an update... Cade is doing tremendous... His recovery has been nothing short of a miracle from God... He is on the A honor roll at school and actually raised all his grades from the first six weeks to the second.. He is running and playing like all the rest of his friends... Hopefully after the January doctor visits he will be able to get back into normal P.E. classes at school and play all the games his friends are playing... We meet with the Neurologist in October and he wanted to release him then, but Brit and I wanted to hold off until after January and talk about it then... He told us that Cade is at a slightly higher risk than a normal kid with any other accident that may occur (involving the head)... We were told that he can never play football, which I will get over in time... But he can maybe start playing baseball as early as the spring... I think we may shoot for the fall... He is back to hitting golf balls and really enjoys that, so maybe he will excel with that... No contact sports are fine with Brit and I... Cade had his pins removed from his leg back in the summer... He did great, and his leg has healed perfectly... During this Holiday season we have had a lot to be thankful for... We are extremely thankful to all of you, for the prayers and generosity that all of you have given us during the last year... Thank you again and I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas, and a very blessed New Year...
