Bre,

So good to hear the progress of Bryce.  I know that these have to be some very trying times and the UNLV family will continue to keep Bryce and your family in our prayers.

It is hard to believe that it has almost been two years and certainly the improvements that Bryce has made in that short period of time are remarkable.  Knowing his strength and inner competetive nature, he will continue to improve.

Wishing you all the best and hope that our trip this year to TCU on Dec 3 will provide us the opportunity to visit Bryce.   All the best. Jerry Koloskie

There's no place like home. Challenging as this transition must be, being home has to be the best therapy yet for dear Bryce. Thank you SO much for the update. God bless you and keep you, as He continues to pour out the strength you need day by day, moment by moment. Much love and many, many prayers from all of us to all of you. XOXOX

"For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God--his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him." Psalm 18:29-30

Faith is everything & you all have so much to celebrate! Your family has helped others with similar injuries to stay the course, rally for the cause, keep the faith. Thank you for providing us an example of perseverance & for promoting the power of prayer. Truly, without God on our sides, I doubt any of us would even try to attempt the remarkable achievements Bryce has made. God is still blessing us; we believe there is more He has promised--all in His time, His way. (My cousin's daughter is on CaringBridge: visit 'marydrake'.). Kathleen McGuire

Just working through a pile of good intentions, Truman's never ending paperwork and my office commitments....found your card,Bre. I am wondering how you are doing,Mom?
You and I met last year at the TBI CAREGIVERS meeting. Did you sign Bryce up with DARS/ VR program? Any other programs worthwhile for Bryce?
To read your last entree I am happy to hear you are making such great progress Bryce! Like being in football practice? Practice, practice, practice.
My Truman continues to be my angel on earth. I am retiring this May in order to take Tru on the road, determined to find MORE TBI relayed therapy....... He is your age Bryce.

I hope to hear from you. Hug to another powerful mom. And to you Bryce strength, love and at least one good belly laugh a day.

Respectfully,
Therese Rockwell

....since Truman's accident in October 2007 I now understand that each day
is a gift
of  strength to be discovered, enjoyed, appreciated and recognize I can do nothing without prayer and the FAITH it brings to me.

Just another hello, checking on Bryce.  I was on Mary Drake's website so I popped over to see Bryce's site.  Mary had a great update--she laughed OUT LOUD for several minutes!  I know that lifted everyone up, getting to hear her voice & see her amazing, dimpled smile.  God works in many ways...Amen!  We are thankful for the sign.               Keep working, Bryce!  I'm gonna keep praying for you.

Bre,
I followed Bryce's link from Mary Drake's CaringBridge; her mom is my cousin. Faith carries us on these unknown journeys. Bryce's progress is inspirational, a testimony to God's healing power through the human spirit. God placed Himself within the many people who've cared for Bryce & Mary--He is still working His miracles through all of you. Even though a prayer seems small, it has brought us all this far. I'll remember Bryce & your family in mine. God has given us so much; simple prayers are yet another gift. I believe He hears. Bryce & Mary are proof.
Thank you for sharing Bryce's story--although there is more to him than what is written on CaringBridge, there is much more to be written. This bolsters hope & encourages families such as Mary's. We are allowed to see what can be, what God has in store for us, in His own time.
