I'm sure you've known from the beginning that you wouldn't be fighting this fight alone, and that couldn't have been more evident after the benefit at St. John on Friday night. I know everyone there was greatly inspired. I have known the Disselkamp family for many years, and the support of one another is a blessing to all who know you. Our thoughts and prayers have been with you from the time Doris told me after mass that Sat. after Thanksgiving, and will continue until little Brooklyn is healed. Yes, we do believe. May God's presence in your lives, as well as your community of believers continue to encourage, comfort, and sustain you. Praise God the tumor has shrunk, and will continue to do so. In Christ's love, Joanna Sherrard

I just got my bracelet's today and have also ordered two shirts for my daughters.  I think you guys designed such a sweet logo for her cause and I can assure you that she will be in my prayers everyday and so will the family.  I can not imagine what a hard thing it must be to go through.  As parents we would want all bad things to happen to us, not our children- but I know it is not always up to us. Stay strong, and give her a kiss from me and my daughters!

Love and prayers,

Praying, praying, praying... for Brooklyn, for her family, for her doctors, for her nurses and medical staff, for her friends.  God DOES work miracles, and I think sweet little Brooklyn will be a perfect example.

Keeping you in our prayers -

I first learned about beautiful Brooklyn when someone asked me "Didn't you graduate with a Disselkamp?" Today I read all about Brooklyn in the News Enterprise and on her facebook page. I'm so glad to hear that your first round of treatment went well. I wanted to let you know that you and your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I know that God answers prayers and that miracles do happen.
May God bless you and give you strength to fight this horrible thing.

Daniel & Family,

I just wanted to stop by and let you know that you have so much support in this community and surrounding. I went to school with Daniel and graduated in 2002. My little brother Justin Jewell was diagnosed with Rhabdomayosarcoma in 2005 and he did lose his battle in 2006 to cancer at age 17. We don't always know the rhyme and reasoning behind everything but I do know that God is good all the time. If you'd like you can visit Justin's page caringbridge.org/visit/justinjewell1 I will continue to pray for your family and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. God Bless !
