Brody has been admitted into hospital. On Tuesday, Brody had come to Edmonton for his routine chemo treatment. Just before he was heading down to the O.R. for his LP, Brody became sick with a fever. They had cancelled the O.R. and decided to admit him for further investigation. As we were waiting for his room to be ready Brody went into a seizure and they ended up calling a code Blue, he pulled through that and once he was transported to his room four hours had passed from the first code blue called and Brody ended up having another seizure that lasted past the danger point and another code blue was called. The second seizure had a combination of different seizure types that Brody experiences. I swear that when they call a code blue that these people just step out of the walls, they are there that fast :-). I remember someone say "call code blue" I heard to two bells and they were there. The second time all I heard was someone say call code and they were there around the bed, I didn't even see them come into the room. It's been confirmed that Brody has another blood infection similar to Christmas time when he ended up in the ICU and an infection in his central line that goes to his heart. He is in good spirits and has a nurse with him 24/7 in his room so he has been flirting with her constantly letting her know how beautiful she is. We will be here a minimum of 10 days to fight the infection and in isolation.
