Hi

My name is Brody Chapman I'm 11 years old and I have cancer, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

I want to help other kids like me who have cancer. So I decided to start a project called "Scrapping with Cancer". I want to give every kid with cancer a Scrapbooking kit and camera.

10,000 kids in Canada alone have cancer. In the U.S. 46 kids are diagnosed with cancer each day.

Today Brody becomes a teenager!  He's 13 today!  I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing, teens are so unpredictable but for me it's a blessing.

We have been having problems with one organization with handing the kits out.  We don't know if they are just forgetting or what.  We have been trying to get in touch with them to correct the situation because it's the kids who are losing out :-(
But I do believe everything happens for a reason. Yesterday, Brody performed one last act as a child.  One that brought him a lot of joy.  He personally delivered a kit to a little boy in Red Deer.  As we drove away, he said to me "Mom, that was the best birthday present I could have, Thank you!"  He continues to remind me that giving is the greatest gift of all.
